Amber is a LCSW who believes that we are greater than just our broken pieces. She obtained her Bachelors degree from East Carolina University in Greenville, NC and her Masters of Social Work from CUNY Hunter College's Silberman School of Social Work in New York, NY.  Through her experience in community based services and private practice groups, Amber has worked with an array of mental health concerns. She has presented and provided workshops on Mental health, Social justice, and Self-care. As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, her areas of focus range from stress and anxiety, women's issues, childhood trauma, work life balance, life transitions, self-esteem, personal development, communication, and the desire to be mentally and emotionally healthy.

Amber's person-centered approach to therapy is empathetic, non judgmental, and supportive. She uses treatment modalities that meet her clients where they are with a blend of skills from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution Focused therapy, Mindfulness, Narrative Therapy, and Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy.
